Downtown dental care coverage map
Explore the defined downtown Toronto dental guide boundary, eight area guides and a browser-local location checker using the City’s Downtown Plan polygon.
Red boundary: City of Toronto Downtown Plan polygon. Numbered dots: eight editorial area guides. These are not dental practices. Tap an unmarked point to check the outline, or use the location choices beside the map.

A defined downtown scope.
The outline shows the geographic focus of this guide. It does not guarantee a dentist, appointment or service at any location.
What the downtown boundary includes.
The guide uses the City’s Downtown Plan polygon rather than a circular distance from a fictional clinic. It runs from the Bathurst Street edge across the downtown core to the Don River, with the northern rail and valley edge above Bloor and the mainland waterfront to the south. The actual outline is more detailed than those four descriptions.
The Toronto Islands, Liberty Village, midtown beyond the northern edge and neighbourhoods east of the Don River are outside this guide’s mapped focus. The east Annex and other neighbourhood names may extend beyond the outline; only their included portions belong to this coverage.
How the boundary checker works.
The checker compares a chosen point with the downloaded City polygon. A point close to the line, or a device location whose accuracy overlaps it, is reported as uncertain. The map is for orientation, not parcel verification or a decision about access to health care. It does not restrict who may read the guides.
Location is requested only after you choose the device-location button. The tool does not save or transmit the coordinates. You can use the map and area examples without sharing a device location. A numbered area marker opens a guide; it does not identify a dentist or guarantee an appointment.

Verify the real address before travelling.
The area names are editorial orientation groups, not official neighbourhood polygons. Confirm a dental office’s actual address, entrance, access and appointment arrangements with the practice. A location inside the outline does not establish the clinician’s credentials, the services available or whether the practice can meet your needs.
